Right Angles

How to use Right Angles
ENTERING DIMENSIONS:
Entering dimensions in Right Angles is the same as for the FIS Calculator above.

TO START:
Before starting the application for the first time you will need to set the default to either
32nds or 16ths in "Settings".

ENTERING TWO SIDES:
When the application starts, the feet, inch and fraction display shows in the upper left corner of the screen. The rise, base and slope fields of the triangle are "zeroed" out. This is also how the screen will appear after pressing the yellow "NEW" button. The "NEW" button will basically clear everything.
At this point the application is waiting for you to enter a dimension. After you have entered your dimension, touch the rise, base, or slope "zero"
dimensions with your finger and the dimension will transfer from the display to that field, the display will clear, and be ready for the next dimension to be entered. Enter the next dimension, and with your finger, touch one of the other "zero" dimensions to enter it into a field. The remaining information for the right triangle will be displayed, which includes the third remaining side, the pitch the angle (decimal), tangent, and area in square feet.
Now enter a new dimension into the rise, base or slope fields, and the application will update the other two sides and the area, based on the slope of the initial triangle that you set up. Sort of like "proportional" triangle calculations along a given slope. This can continue for as long as you like with the slope you have set up. When you are ready to set up a new slope, touch the yellow "NEW" button and the displays will clear, ready for new input.

ENTERING A SIDE AND AN ANGLE:

As mentioned above, when the application starts, the feet, inch, and fraction display is shown. To enter an angle, touch the center of the screen area to the right of the "feet" display and the "decimal" display will appear and the "feet" display will disappear. You will also see the "ANG" field appear and be "zeroed" out as well. The application is now waiting for an angle to be entered (in decimal form) into the display. This can be either angle other than the 90 degree angle which makes it a right triangle.
After entering the angle, touch the blue zeros in the angle field in the lower right side of the display and the angle will be transfered to that field, the decimal display will disappear, and the feet display will appear and be ready to enter a side. Enter your side as explained above and the application will process the information and display the remaining info as explained above, and the cycle continues with "proportional" triangles based on the slope set up.
